BVA Annual Testimony
BVA National President Neil Appleby presented BVA’s legislative
program to a joint session of the Veterans Affairs committees
in the House of Representatives and Senate. The testimony occurred
on March 4 and will be covered in greater detail in the Spring
2004 Bulletin.
Earlier in the week, the BVA Legislative Committee met in Washington,
DC, with key members of Congress and VA officials. The Committee
was composed of BVA Director of District 5 and Committee Chairman
Dr. George Stocking, National President Neil Appleby, and National
Secretary Dr. Norman Jones. Both Tom Miller and I accompanied
them to the meetings.
