Locate America's Blinded VetsThere are an estimated 165,000 blinded veterans in the United States today. Each year another 7,000 veterans become blind due to age-related accidents or diseases like macular degeneration or combat related injuries. Half of these veterans don't know they're eligible for special benefits and services. If you'd like to help us locate and assist America's blinded veterans by distributing educational literature in your community, please let us know. We'll send you as many brochures as you can pass out. For more information or to request educational literature, please call BVA toll-free 1-800-669-7079. |
