BVA

according to the Internal Revenue Service code.
Can I get a receipt for tax purposes?

Can I make a gift that my employer will match?
Check with your personnel officer for eligibility requirements
and to obtain a matching gift form. Send your gift and completed

Can I make a gift in memory of someone?
You can make a gift in memory or honor of someone. BVA will send
an acknowledgement to the person you designate. Call BVA at 1-800-669-7079

BVA will send you a copy of our brochure explaining how and why
to make a will.
Why do you mail so many fundraising solicitations?
Most BVA donors like being kept informed about the organization
via its mailings. Please call BVA at 1-800-669-7079 if you would
like to hear from us only once or twice a year.
What is your cost of fundraising?
BVA's cost of fundraising is 23%. This is normal for a small
organization like BVA that relies almost entirely on small gifts
resulting from direct mail solicitations.
Can I get a copy of your IRS Form 990?

BVA mails name labels and notepads throughout the year. Your name
can be included in future mailings. Please call Laureen Bowles
at BVA at 1-800-669-7079 to make your request. Please allow for
up to eight weeks for delivery.
Can you send me more calendars, greeting cards or other
printed materials?
Yes, call Laureen Bowles at 1-800-669-7079. You can expect to
receive stocked items in about a week. No gift is necessary.

its mailings months in advance, you may still receive two or more

How do I prevent my name from being rented or exchanged
with other mailers?

at 1-800-669-7079. A special code can be assigned to your name
to prevent exchanges and/or rentals. Please allow for up to eight
weeks for the change to be implemented.
