Final Thought
A friendly voice, willing hands, and a genuinely kind heart all characterize one of the 21st century’s most consistent and dedicated BVA volunteers. Terence Bowles, now 18 years old and a freshman at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, received a Certificate of Appreciation at the BVA 62nd National Convention. The citation recognized his service to and care of blinded veterans and their families at six national conventions. Terence is the son of Laureen Bowles, production coordinator in the Department of Development at BVA National Headquarters.
