The BVA Board of Directors conference room at national headquarters
in Washington, DC was a bustle of activity March 10-11. It was
the first time in more than two years that the Board had come
together, both in person and in full, for the annual Congressional
testimony and mid-winter meetings.
Seated, left to right in the front row, are Dr.
Sidney Ordway and Dr. Roy Kekahuna. In back are Dr. Robert Smith,
3rd, Dr. Norman Jones, Neil Appleby, Joe Burns, Larry Belote,
Mark Cornell, General Weeks, Dr. George Stocking, and Sam Huhn.
A colored cloth tapestry containing the BVA emblem, hand stitched
and donated by blinded veteran Donna Marlene in 1993, is visible
in the background.
