Job Title: Manufacturing Equipment Technician III

Under minimal supervision be responsible for performing preventative maintenance PM’s on all equipment at STLB, complete job assignments in a timely manner demonstrating a sense of urgency when working in a production environment. Must be able to troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and electronic equipment, ascertaining that all are in good operation and repair or replace parts to keep them at peak performance.

Requirements:
  • Requires 4-year degree, or a 2 Year Trade School Education, or a HS Diploma with 5 years related experience repairing, maintaining and servicing a variety of machinery
  • Previous experience with computerized machinery preferred; however, must have solid electrical, mechanical, welding, and maintenance background
  • Must have the ability to effectively prioritize and complete job assignment
  • Must be able to work effectively, both independently and in teams.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Requires the ability to work overtime as needed and work flexible hours
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well, with effective communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to perform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
  • Current state driver’s license and proof of insurability

Job Title: Sales Associate – Level I (Part-time)

Under close supervision, performs general retail sales support and customer service duties.

Requirements:
  • First preference will be given to legally blind and/or wounded warrior candidates
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Requires good people skills.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Proficiency using computer/Window applications or ability to use once training provided.
  • Six months Point-of-Sale and retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Job Title: Sales Manager (Revised as of 11-10-17)

Responsible for selling office supplies, furniture, and additional products to new customers throughout federal markets along with assigned BSC/E markets as well as annual sales and customer growth goals.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
  • 4-5 years of previous sales experience in the Federal marketplace and knowledge of office products and furniture.
  • Trained in professional selling techniques that are based on customer needs, analysis and the fulfillment of customer needs.
  • Must be self-motivated.
  • Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the AbilityOne Program is extremely helpful, as well as experience with Military, Federal Government, and State Use organizations.
  • Strong computer skills are required to assist with presentations, sales planning, and online internet training, and reporting through CRM.
  • Portraying a professional image is a must.
  • Reside in or near the federal marketplace area.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand in a trade show environment for several hours at a time
  • Travel up to 25%-50%
  • Current state driver’s license and proof of insurability

Job Title: Manager, Production Training and Quality (Revised as of 11-13-17)

Responsible for the effective development, coordination, implementation, presentation and maintenance of the production organization’s training and quality programs.  Plans, coordinates and directs both programs designed to ensure efficiency of operations and continuous improvement in manufacturing and quality. Supervises Production Trainers and Quality Technicians.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, education, business administration or any engineering discipline. Twenty years of progressive experience may be substituted.
  • Minimum of ten years progressive experience in manufacturing oriented organizations in quality assurance and/or training. Minimum of five years in management capacity.
  • Excellence analytical, prioritization and multitasking skills and high attention to detail
  • Process analysis improvement and project management expertise
  • Proven ability to lead by example
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation
  • Kaizen and lean manufacturing knowledge
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Current state driver’s license and proof of insurability

Job Title: Material Handler

Responsible for the timely, efficient movement of material ensuring the stated material is readily available by the end-user in  order that the manufacturing process continues without interruption; performs a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment related to the timely, efficient movement, delivery, packing and transport of materials and finished goods.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum six months working in warehouse, shipping or manufacturing preferred
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Must be able to operate a variety of material handling equipment specific to department including pallet jack, fork lift, etc.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to move (push/pull) material weighing up to 150 lbs. with the aid of a roll-jack
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work on feet for the entire shift

Job Title: Sales Associate – Level I
