To what amazing lengths will the BVA Auxiliary go in order to secure a sale at the convention Silent Auction? BVAA National Vice President Edna-Kirksey Dixon, right, can certainly answer that question.

On September 2, Edna drove 93 miles from her home in Bay Minette, Alabama, a one-way trip of an hour and 45 minutes, to deliver a basket of bath items to Biloxi, Mississippi BRC Chief Debra Gilley just a few days after driving home from the convention.

Debra had been in Milwaukee for the VA Blind Rehabilitation Service meetings, concurrent with the BVA convention, and bought the basket after Edna promised to deliver it to her personally.
