Scattered throughout the country in seven different regions, BVA's Field Service Representatives and the program they administer constitute the "backbone" of the Blinded Veterans Association.
Field reps are national service officers who live and work in the communities they serve. They actively seek out veterans who are adjusting to blindness, encouraging them to take charge of their lives with the practical tools that will help them find and follow the road to independence.
Claudia Perry, pictured at left with her assistant, Cecilia Montenegro, has served blinded veterans in the mid-Atlantic area since early 2006. Claudia is also responsible for Puerto Rico and the Philippines.
