For portions of four decades, Thomas H. Miller has been an advocate for blinded veterans and their families, serving as the Blinded Veterans Association's Director of Government Relations and later as Executive Director of the Association's general operations.
Tom has several times traversed the globe to disseminate the organization's mission and history. He has walked the Halls of Congress on occasions numbering hundreds, met personally with six U.S. Presidents, and crossed paths with noteworthy athletes, entertainers, and business professionals.
Pictured here greeting President Bill Clinton on November 11, 1998, Tom has been the face of BVA and its work. The organization and everyone a part of it will miss him greatly.
